After hearing about CHEP's side mount clearance issues, and having them myself with the otherwise great looking @xbost remix, I decided to design one myself.
With the lightweight design that I much love, tight to avoid any unwanted movements and noise, and most importantly, with enough clearance for 200mm spools with 20mm of extra space to the X axis motor.
It does not need any extra hardware, although it allows the option of securing it with a T-Nut in the vertical side of the 4040 profile.
As with all my profile inserts, it is very tight. Please make sure your printer is correctly calibrated before attempting to print this model. You might even have to give it a couple taps with a small hammer to slide it.
This way you don't need any extra hardware but it does not move a single bit.
Also works with the CR series.
