# X-Axis Durable Camera Mount
** Updated Mount **
After a few months of use, the *original design* described below started to loosen up and wasn't holding my camera reliably. This was largely due to the slip on nature of it, and the clip bending overtime from the heat of the motor.
So I decided to go back to the drawing board, and simply replace the entire x-axis cover. The new design is mounted through the x-axis plate and holds both the limit switch, and the screws that go into the motor.
The one included in the photo was printed in low quality (.20) because I wanted a prototype for testing. I will likely reprint it later in higher resolution, but for now, it's connected and working.
The new design file is:

It should be be significantly more reliable, if not more visually appealing.
