I wanted to reuse as many factory screws as possible. This way the damper replaces the Y motor support and reuses the screws from the Y motor. Two of the Y screws went to the X motor for its damper, so the remaining two went to the damper for the Y motor. I had ordered an upgrade for the extruder and used two of those screws in the raised holes. I used the raised holes as spacers for longer screws, cut to fit. Also you can leave the endstop where it is, and the motor is in the same orientation.
