This is a basic plate for mounting the y end stop sensor. This allows mounting of the stepper motor from the other side (the bracket runs into the end stop mount if you try and switch the stepper without switching the end stop), which allows use of a stepper motor damper to quiet the printer. (Using my other mounting: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3680004).
Yes, at V3. I learned a few things along the way (obvious things really, just did not think enough when I started):
1. The troughs really ARE needed. I printed one without troughs first without inspecting the PCB close enough, as its through hole it needs those spaces for the solder joints.
2. Mirroring the trough placement when you are flipping the part over is harder then it first appears.
3. It needs to be higher as its flipped over the switch arm runs the other way.
The part is designed to use a captive m3 nut for pcb board mounting. Uses the standard m4 bolts that come off the stock y sensor mount plate. Th
