This is a quick and dirty Z Clamp for the Ender 3 and Ender 3 Pro, equipped with a single z-screw. Its designed to be installed in the 4020 v-slot extrusion near the top of the printer and accepts two coarse thread screws for the clamping.
I work in EMS and so I spend multiple days on end at work so I like to take my printer to work with me. HOPEFULLY (I haven't tested this yet) I will be able to use the resume after power failure function to resume prints I must pause to commute. The Ender 3 homes the X and Y axis when paused but the Z axis must remain up and is subject to movement when the steppers lose power. So this clamp will be used to gently hold the z-screw and prevent it from turning while in transit. I don't know how much force this clamp will be able to resist, and YMMV depending on the lubricity of your z-screw, how tight you make it, and the forces exerted upon the z-axis in transit. So, no guarantees, but I don't think most people care about that. Just be careful, thi
