It's always easier to improve on a good idea than to have one.

I added a little fuller coverage. There's enough clearance to slide down pretty smoothly except for the last 1/8" that seems like it won't go down to flush in the front. But it will if you just squeeze it front to back on the top right side. Then you've got a tight fit that won't move on you.
