Ender 6 BIQU H2 Mount
I was inspired by 3DPrintBeginner (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4822425) and their direct drive conversion of the Creality Ender 6 with the BIQU H2 compact extruder and hot end. However I also wanted to include a BLtouch and an ADXL345 accelerometer for input shaping. I wasn’t happy with the other BIQU H2 fan mounts for a 5015 24v fan and the one 3DPrintBeginner used ate up too much of the Y axis for my liking.
My goal was a compact, clean looking, all-in-on mount with minimal impact to build volume. Note the channel for the heater cartridge and thermistor wires requires that you mount the hot end as pictured with label facing the right (heater cartridge to the left and thermistor to the right) when looking at the front of the printer.
Pros
• Direct drive conversion
• BLtouch mount
• Accelerometer mount
• Compact and clean
• Good cable management
• Very rigid
• Makes room for the X axis end stop cable
Cons
• -20mm in Y axis build volume
