Warning! if you are not comfortable flashing and editing the firmware for your printer, this is not the mod for you.

I have remixed Teaching techs free ABL setup for my ender 3 pro with direct drive (DD). This puts the extrusion motor directly above the hot end. I have found that using any other DD setup will pull the hot end up and down causing bad layers.
The bed holders are optional. I didn't want the springs so I got rid of mine and kept the leveling nuts on. I would recommend getting some locknuts as the leveling nuts keep coming loose.
I printed this in PETG because I only plan on printing PLA and PETG on my Ender 3. Would recommend ABS if you have the capabilities.
I have done this simply because I'm cheap and wanted to see if I could. The models could definitely be better so feel free to remix and tweak to your needs.
I plan changing out the Oem extrusion m
