Ender3 Hot End LED Mount

Ender3 hot end LED mounting bracket allows easy installation of surface mount LEDs within the stock hot end shroud to illuminate build surface. Lights around the hot end provide high visibility below the nozzle and extrusion path. Also included is a small enclosure to mount and switch and resistors, conveniently snapping into the 2020 rail below the screen. Powered by the 24v Ender3 power supply with a simple series LED/resistor circuit.

The bracket utilizes slotted tabs to fixture it within the stock sheet metal hot end shroud. It's positively retained by the right rear part fan bolt, and the X axis gantry plate once reinstalled. Print with a high temperature filament. I used PETG and have had no issues with deformation, nor observed any suggestion of heat creep due to reduction in hot end fan flow area.
