I created a very light remix (only one cylinder), in order to minimize the printing time :
Dimensions: 31x27xH49 mm
It is both a very original decorative object, a model explaining how a classic 4-stroke engine works, but it's also a ruthless test for your printer because the motor block is printed in one go !
After multiple attempts to get a good print, I finally used a raft because all the other printing options failed (my printer has no hot bed)...
Once you have finished printing, you will have to dazzle the creation with a scalpel :
- at the bottom of the piston, a small strip to be deleted
- at the bottom of the connecting rod, same
- all operating axes
- piston contacts with the cylinder
Finally tap on the top of the piston so that it can move
But in the end, what a pleasure to see this engine running !
I added a crank for fun but this accessory is not essential
You can use a screwdriver for high speed rotation!
You can enlarge the 3 objects in your sli
