This is a SCARA arm which can be used for a multitude of things. Personally, I am going to be using it as a 3D printer, but it is an open platform which can be modified and changed to fit your needs.
This design utilizes 6x 6810 bearing in the arm joints to allow for a smooth rotation and mitigate backlash/slop by providing a large moment radius due to the bearing size. The segments which give the arms can be any form of 20x20mm stock; the joints are designed to slot and bold into the 20x20 stock. Depending on how long you want the arm, you can change the length of the stock.
Currently, there is a 25:1 gear ratio build in using belts and gears, providing a greater amount
