A while back I asked my friends for ideas on something to 3D model and one suggested I model someplace that is meaningful or important to me. Took some time and I found something worth modeling.
The equality house that was bought and remodeled right across the street from the hateful Westboro Baptist Church. The church is a nationally recognized place of hateful people who show up to events to protest the death of gay people, military funerals, and anywhere they can get media attention to feel relevant. These people would want people like me crucified.
"The Equality House is a symbol of compassion, peace, and positive change. The house, which is painted the colors of the Pride flag, serves as the resource center for all Planting Peace human rights initiatives and stands as a visual reminder of our commitment, as global citizens, to equality for all." This video shows the process by which I was able to model the house. This file is available to download for 3D printing for free
