This is my second major revision of my 3d printable equatorial mount.
Even though I personally casted all of these parts in aluminum for high accuracy setups, you can most likely get away with high infill/high strength plastic parts. I modeled it off of some details on >$5000 equitorial mounts, such as it using 1.5" diameter steel shafts as the main axis of rotation.
**I have included the step files for all of the parts for you to make tweaks to better suit your needs. **
You don't have to use 1.5" steel shafts that weigh 40lbs a piece for your axis. You can change the holes to use common 3/4" shafts if you wanted to.
**I think of this as more as a starting point to your own project rather than a complete design for everybody.**
Once I finalize my stepper motor mounts and gearing I will upload those as well.
Hopefully I can find the time to drive it with a raspberry pi with http://indilib.org/
Things able to be printed or casted

1x RA Axis.stl
