ERB - Side-Load-Filament Guide and Filament Sensor Switch
Note: I will UPDATE this post as more information is available.
I wanted a "Side Load Filament Switch" and "Filament Guide" for my Ender 3 and CR-10, the following is what I came up with using Fusion 360.
I suspect it would work for most Creality 3D Printers, but It has only been installed it on an Ender 3 and CR-10.
This should work with newer 3D Printer Software. I am using it with just a battery and buzzer.
Advantages:
Side Load Filament
Very-very Little Drag
The switch can be avoided by routing Filament without engaging the switch
Required Hardware, or similar:
Fender Washer: M3x15mm
Hex Socket Screw: M3x16mm
Micro Switch - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PPPZD4R
Wheel, U Groove Track Roller - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079GWHLYN
Rotate STL as necessary to print Wheel Post UP
Print TIme about 1.5 hours
The Print Parameters that I used:
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Perimeters: 3
