I have a wide supply of ESP8266 (and ESP32) boards and modules in my collection. I have a bad batch of fake Lolin / Wemos D1 mini's with a bad USB to serial chip.
They are hard to connect and program. A board like this helps. It comes with a CH340 usb to serial chip that works without problems under Windows10/11 and Linux and has a USB-C connector. The PCB comes without headers, but if you buy Lolin / Wemos D1 boards you end up with a lot of those headers that you can use here.
I soldered the headers with the long pins to the PCB. In this way i can stick it onto a breadboard.
The PCB itself has quite brittle connectors; the golden loops that hold the ESP module. The comment section on Ali mentions this every time: When you receive the PCB the loops are already bent.
That's why i designed a box around all this.
The size is approx. 65mm x 34mm x 23mm height.
