I wanted to create a new version of the esp32 arcade i once made, but there where already many versions of this.So i changed the form to a more comfortable handheld format. After 5 revisions this is my current design, please let me know what you think.I am thinking of adding a volume control and battery for the next update, Or go to 3.0 and use retropie on a respberry pi zero. The hardware use for this is a “Cheap Yellow Display” (https://github.com/witnessmenow/ESP32-Cheap-Yellow-Display)Available on Ali-Express and other sites, Mine was the version with 2 usb ports and the ST7796 display but others work too. This board lacks enough GPIO pins for the controls so i used a PCF8574 io expander, and a small speaker. The software i used is from harbaum, available here (https://github.com/harbaum/galagino).It can run 6 games. pac-man, galaga and donkey kong being the most popular. It should also be possible to run a gameboy emulator on the esp32, bu i havent tested this yet.(https://github.com
