This is one of my first drawings designed in Fusion360. It is a multi sensor system based on the ESP8266 or WEMOS. With a WEMOS, I used a breakout board to spread the supply voltages: 3.3V, 5V and GND.
A DHT22 temperature sensor is used to measure temperature and humidity. I tried to encapsulate the sensor as much as possible from the self heating of the WEMOS.
A AM312 PIR in the front is used to detect motion. The firmware generates an interrupt and communicates the motion status to the MQTT server.
A Lilypad RGB LED is used to generate a minimal light triggered via the PIR thru the MQTT server.
A TEMT6000 sensor in the top indicates light changes (still under evaluation). I used a SMD LED lid as cover.
The housing or multi sensor can be equipped additional with a 3.3V relay to control an external light. I add one additional cover to separate the high voltage from the low voltage control signals.
The complete design is made to be connected with jumper cables with a minimum nec
