So, I had an operation on my hand to reattach a severed tendon on Christmas Eve which means that I can't use my right hand at all for a few weeks. For Christmas my wife bought me an espresso coffee machine which is great but it is difficult to use one handed. The problem is that you need to fill and tamp down the coffee in the sieve holder but it is not very stable on it's own and can easily tilt over so you need to hold the handle with the other hand while you compress the coffee granules.
So TinkerCad and 3d Printer to the rescue, I designed and printed this base to hold the sieve holder and create a stable base that would not tip over regardless of how hard and at what angle you press down which enables me to use it one handed.
This is designed to fit the Silverlake Espresso Machine with milk frother purchased from Lidl here in the uk.
