This is a telemetry system based on Arduino Nano, designed for Estes rockets. It features an MPU-6050 sensor for measuring the G force on the rocket body and a BME-280 sensor for recording barometric altitude at apogee. The device uses recycled lithium batteries from disposable vapes, providing a long battery life while keeping weight and complexity low. However, it should be noted that the added weight of 54.7g will have a significant impact on the rocket's apogee height. Therefore, it's recommended to use Open Rocket to estimate the rocket's performance and write the Arduino program with the appropriate delays for optimal value recording.
Operating the device is straightforward. Turn on SW1 to power up the Arduino and sensor package, and it will continuously print out its values to the serial monitor. To start the launch procedure, flip SW7 while starting a 60-second timer on your phone. Load the module into your rocket and launch it when the timer reaches 0. The device will begin
