Eureka Model 10 Nozzle Latch

Vintage vacuum cleaner part for Eureka Model 10 (serial number starts with 'J'). This is the nozzle latch, which I believe was originally made of pot metal and did not stand the test of time (almost 100 years now!).

This latch is for the version of the machine WITHOUT the bowtie-shaped steel spacer plate behind the latch. I have both styles of machine, but the one with the spacer plate is only a for-parts machine, so I haven't designed one for that. If you want it, let me know.

You will need the original screw and spring.

Mark 2 is slightly more robust. The first version broke rather easily. Unfortunately this part has a lot of force applied to it, it really needs to be made of metal. Fortunately you can just print several and keep them around. Highly recommend printing in PLA+ for strength.
