This remix started when I stumbled across this impressive model but realized that to achieve the scale it deserved I'd need to slice it up into sections. I also wanted to pack in a bit more detail and interest into the model so I opted for using the Greebles plugin for 3ds max (source: http://max.klanky.com/plugins.htm). The topology for the original model leaved a lot to be desired so I decided to clean up a lot of the top side faces before applying the Greebles modifier. I've also opted for using support rods throughout most of the major sections of the ship to give it that extra rigidity and strength come glue time (or if you want to feel like a ship builder give friction welding a go!) After Greebling (If it's not a term I'll coin it) the ship I exported it to netfabb for slicing and repair work. Please note that the files aren't to scale or correct orientation. The best orientation is having the largest flat side on the print bed which should use the least support require
