Experimental Rocketry Egg Holder

This is an experimental egg holder for egg loft rockets. The holder fits inside of a BT70 (54mm I.D.) and has space to add foam padding to surround the egg.

The first fling test where the holder was hand-thrown upwards to about 25-30 feet resulting in some longitudinal cracks. Upon investigation, it was determined that a sharp edge on the inside of the curve had occurred due to the first layer or two being somewhat flattened during printing. Sanding those down and generally sanding the insides resulted in following flings being successful.

Next up will be flight testing...
