This is an 'adapter' the works into the Explore Scientific Handle on my telescope.
Different adapters can be made to slot into the SaddleShoe.
The first one I made was a Vixen adapter but will look to add new adapters as I acquire them.
All parts slot into each other with relative ease, no sanding needed.
The SaddleShoe-Insert needs to be glued into the SaddleShoe.
