Designed this holder because the extension cord I use didn't have holes on the back for mounting. Works super simple, just insert with the cord facing either hole at the top or bottom, and slightly bend the arms to open up and slide extension cord plug into place. Then it should snap down and secure it in place. Make sure to screw it to the wall first in the position that you want.
