External Slim CD/DVD/BD Drive

This is to turn an internal laptop slot load slim (thin, not 12mm) CD/DVD/BD-rom drive into an external one. The hole in the back is only sized for Sata, so an older pata drive may need some trimming. Print it with the open side up to keep the print from warping with over hangs. This may also fit a normal tray load, but I'm not sure and you milage may vary.

**Be sure to scale up between .2 and 3% for PLA and whatever else you may be printing in depending on filament. This is an exact fit so any filament shrink will affect fitment.

I've included the FreeCAD model, so feel free to edit and change what you want.

This model was made using the Panasonic UJ267 slot load BDRE Drive. It should be a standard fit for any drive but all measurements were based off of this one. Happy Printing!
