The story: I had a first gen 3D printer, 15 years old. It would reliably do 0.25 mm. Not great, not terrible. Not very inspiring though. Then i got a Bambu labs A1 mini, after the first week i printed the classic makers muse inspired tolerance test. HM. All dials move? And they feel great! Actually, it feels like there is more potential here. (Less than 0.1mm???) So here it is, a tolerance test - classic style - from 0.1mm to 0.05mm, in 0.01 increments. NOTE: Classic slicing does not go this fine with a 0.4mm nozzle. This is a custom profile to increase the resolution. Also note: Not all filaments are suited for this test. If you compare for example BL PLA basic - specified to 1.75 +- 0.03mm vs PLA silk dual color - specified to 1.75mm. AKA, basic is really good, and silk is pretty. These gaps are also TINY: you might have a situation where 0.06 moves but 0.07 does not. This is normal, the gaps are smaller than a typical human hair! Printed in engineering pink. Other colors might also
