This is a stop block for use with 2020 Extruded Aluminum Rail. This is a quick and dirty 20mm wide stop block that was created in sketchup and exported to an stl. Just about everything was done using default settings since I'm lazy. I'm using some spare 2020 to make a filament rack and wanted a way to make sure spacings were consistent. Using another spare piece of 2020 and some stop blocks I decided to make an adjustable “story stick”. Unfortunately, the only other stop blocks I came across were designed for the standard ¾ inch woodworking T Track, which I don't have spares. If you're unfamiliar with the concept of a story stick, it's common in woodworking. A story stick is used to make sure measurements are consistent when you're redoing a project. Instead of remaking all the measurements from notes, you just use the story stick to lay down your measurements. The hardware is a M6 x 25mm T Slot Drop-in Bolt.
