F-117 Nighthawk

The Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk is a stealth attack aircraft developed by Lockheed Corporation for the United States Air Force. It first flew in 1981 and became operational in 1983. Designed with a unique faceted shape and radar-absorbing materials, the F-117 was built to avoid radar detection and perform precision strikes on high-value targets, usually at night. It was widely used during the Gulf War and proved highly effective in stealth combat operations. The aircraft was officially retired in 2008
