F.R.E.D is a rover… a friendly oneI originally built Fred for a robotics contest and here he is on makerworld! You can find the instructions you need to build this on instructableshttps://www.instructables.com/FRED-Friendly-Rover-Exploration-Device/Parts you need:1× Arduino Uno1× L298N motor driver module2× HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensors2× SG90 micro servos4× Hobby DC gear motors3D printed chassis parts (STL files provided below)Battery pack (6×AA or Li-ion) the more volts the betterJumper wires, breadboard, screws, etc4x 20mm ball bearings2x 5-16-18_91251A383_Screwas many M3 screws as you can findNOTE:I recommend using 2 cheap brushed esc’s instead of the l289n driver because there is a problem with power consumption, you may have to tweak the programming to make it work.you may see that there is an extra circuit board connected to the arduino, it is there to help simplify the wiring but you do not need it.PLA works great.Worst case scenario use ChatGPT to make the code.
