After building the TWP with 6x6x9 microswitches, I wanted to redesign the ICP along the same lines, using the microswitch's central pin as a support for the button itself, backlighting with LEDs, and using a 2.54-pitch multi-hole fiberglass board as a support.
So I redesigned the ICP.
The button bodies fit onto the 6x6x9 microswitches, while the two rockers still rest on 6x6x4.3 microswitches. To give the round buttons a sense of direction, I made a small notch. Some sandpaper is needed to smooth and round any protrusions and 3D printing features.
To secure everything, I used glue and 2mm or M2 screws, found in a kit on Amazon in various lengths, which are also very useful for securing Arduino and various interfaces.
