F550 Hexacopter Dome

Here is a dome that I designed for my f550 Hexacopter. If you want to use it on another quad or hex then just scale it to fit.

It has 4 pads that I use for mounting it with velcro.

I used 10% infill
2 Shells
.2 layer height.
No raft or support needed.

Mine is ABS and took 3h59min to print. I used white so that I can paint it any colour.

Be sure to wipe the heated bed down with acetone to ensure no curling.

I have took some photo's of my dome that I modelled this one on. the dome is exactly the same size as the clear one in the pictures and as you see, it is held on with four velcro spots. The dome is not designed to go all the way to the edges of the top plate, instead leaving room for some velcro spots.
