Fabric Lamp Shade

Today I designed a lamp shade frame that combines 3D printing and sewing. The printed structure acts as the skeleton of the shade, while fabric is stretched and sewn over it to create the final surface. This approach allows you to choose your own materials, patterns, and colors, making the lamp easy to customise to your space. The frame prints cleanly and provides enough structure for the fabric to hold its shape while still remaining lightweight. Once covered, the fabric diffuses the light nicely, creating a soft and warm atmosphere in the room. Here is the Sewing Pattern. Have fun sewing :) 💬 Support the Project If you like what I’m doing, follow me and check back to see what’s next!If you print this model, please leave a like or thumbs-up 👍 — it really helps. And don’t forget to share your make photos 📸 — I’d love to see the fabrics you choose!💡 Have an idea for another lamp or home accessory?
