I loved the Totoro coat rack design from wanhaofan1 (remixed from Yuyuy75's work), but I was unhappy with the print time and filament requirements.
Using wanhaofan1's STEP file, I thinned out the character images to 3mm, but left the structural components (screw holes, hooks, and dovetails) at 6mm thickness. By thinning out the character sections, I was able to reduce the print time by 25%, and the filament cost by 20%, while still retaining the impact of the characters.
The STEP file hooks were parallel to the build plate, which would require additional support during printing. I adjusted the hooks to a printer-friendly 35° overhang, and rounded the hook edges. Otherwise, this version incorporates all of wanhaofan1's improvements (even spacing, symmetric dovetails, etc.).
The overall height is slightly shorter than wanhaofan1's version, which allows each section to fit comfortably within the Cura slicer's build volume limits for the Ender 3.
