Fat ball bird feeder

My first model on Makerworld! This is a bird feeder designed for fat balls, intended to provide our feathered friends with a small snack during the cold season.Based on my own experience, birds seem to avoid bright colors. My first prototype printed in white PLA with a blue hat was largely ignored, so I strongly recommend printing this model in darker colors. Please also make sure to use non-toxic materials. For this reason, I chose PETG as a safe and weather-resistant option.The model shown in the pictures is printed in PETG-CF, simply because I currently only have dark filaments available in carbon-fiber-filled versions. I carefully removed any loose fibers, and I plan to reprint the feeder once new standard PETG filament arrives. I hope you enjoy the model—and that it helps support local birds during winter!
