Work in Progress of a 26" fatbike fender. Soon there should be internal slots to improve glueing(bolting) together several elements to make a complete fender...
I have good experiences printing the fender elements in TPU so they can bend and don't break, and the pins in PETG which is strong and temperature stable.
Rev 02 features holes for 5mm alignment pins and channels for M3 threaded rods (possibly even M4), to give the fender assembly some strength...
added a version modified with cutouts to fit between front forks (122mm clearance as currently scaled)
added 10 and 20 degree elements - the idea is to be able to adapt the extension before and behind mount points or obstacles, or to maximize the length of available threaded rods.
I have received stainless steel M3 1 meter rods now each weighs aprox. 43 grams and it looks like its going to fulfil the requirement to pretension and tighten the whole assembly even without glue!
I would be happy to accept donations ( payp
