Fat Puzzle Cube

This cube has not entirely worked yet. My first printed version is my cover page. The printer made the top and bottom layer of each piece greater than 1" causing the parts not to line up well. So far, I have been able to do 1/4 turn without sanding.

After looking at some pictures of Rubik's cubes taken apart, I decided to try to design my own with the little information I knew. Eventually, I got this cube. It is still a work in progress and I have not gotten a chance to test it yet.
