It's cold outside.
I decided to make chicken soup for dinner. While it was cooking, I realized I didn't have a fat separator. (I normally let it sit and use the freezer method to remove the fat.)
I could go out in the freezing weather, or I could make my own (strangely, I didn't find one on thingiverse). I choose the later,
Then, I changed my mind. :) I decided to save the soup for when someone gets sick and used the freezer method after all! Still, I have a Thing to share... Thingiverse now has a fat separator.
The picture was my first attempt. The uploaded STL has 2mm walls to make it more sturdy and I made the spout longer (below the cup would waste cup!)
60 degree spout angle prints fine without supports on my Prusa mk3. If you bed is smaller, you should probably rotate the object 45 degrees.
Printed with PETG so it can take hot soup.
I'm not sure if the PETG (or hot end) is food safe, but the soup wouldn't be in it that long. We all ate dirt as k
