Fathom Claw accessory

FATHOM challenge: 3D printable accessories for drones. The claw will be 3d printable with a little bit of extra technology using a rangefinder and a retractable shaft. My accessory will be able to help you with picking up objects… The claw will be opened and closed with a cylinder shaft that will be able to retract to grab the object and extend to release… A very good example will be to pick fruit high up in trees… The red lens in the middle of the two arms will work like a rangefinder so the drone will be able to measure the distance of anything and also how far it needs to hover next to the object to retract the shaft and grab the object… The claw is designed according to the Horus Kestrel 3D to fit perfectly and to be able to land on its existing landing gear without the claw being a problem. All of the black parts will be able to be 3d printed in FDM Nylon 12 where the green and grey parts will be Production Grade thermoplastic for strength and lightweight. The entire claw will be made out of twenty nine parts in total without the rangefinder and retracting shaft.
