I recently replaced our bathroom faucet with a Kohler Willamette faucet (K-R99901-4D-CP). The thin hoses coming down from each handle have to make a tight turn towards the Y-shaped connector in the middle, below the faucet (see Picture 11 in the installation manual). Unfortunately that introduces kinks in the hoses that impede water flow, much like bending a garden hose. I designed and printed this part as a way to ease the hose into wider radius turn in order and reduce that kink. It does not entirely eliminate it, but it's good enough.
For what it's worth, I consider this a design flaw in the original product. Either the product should come with these parts, or the hoses should be made from stiffer material.
