This bird feeder arm came about when my wife asked for a way to hang multiple bird feeders from our garden fence. After taking some measurements, I designed this practical attachment that not only works great for bird feeders but also for hanging lights, decorations, or small potted plants. For strength, I used a dovetail cut in Orca Slicer so it can be printed laying down. This orients the print layers vertically, greatly improving its strength. The fit is snug enough that strong 5kg-rated double-sided tape inside might be enough, but I didn’t want to risk it. I added a hole for zip ties to give extra peace of mind. If preferred, that hole also works perfectly for a screw if you want a more permanent or rigid attachment.I’ve printed mine in PLA, and so far they’ve held up just fine. Once I upgrade my printer, I plan to reprint them in PETG, ASA, or ABS for better weather resistance. For convenience, I’ve also included the original STL file without the dovetail, in case you prefer printin
