Festool Plugit Adapter for MaxXT Orbital Sander

Festool has a proprietary electrical connector called PlugIt. This part allows exchanging the original cable of the MaxXT Random Orbital Sander with a PlugIt connector. This enables you using the original Festool Plugit Vacuum Hose with integraded power connector.Exchange of elecrical parts at your own risk.Part Number for original connector: 492602 (about 10€ when I bought it)The Festool connector fits very snugly, you might need to use a file to smoothen the surface where the support material was attached to fit it.I glued the two halves together for extra strength, but I guess this is not required.My recommendation is to use PETG to get a strong part.
