fettronics chest light display cover

This is just a basic display that fits over the LEDs on Fettronics BF V5 chest lights.

I found that when I wanted to mount fettronics lights into a Sintra 6mm thick chestplate, that my cuts were not as clean around the LEDs as I would like and that the lights themselves required a section on the back of the plate be dremeled out so that the plate would sit flush and not float. with this part I was able to just cut a single, larger rectangle into the plate, set the parts depth where the PCB was as flush as possible, secure with super glue, epoxy or a 2 part epoxy putty and sand the visible surface smooth. This gave me a clean display edge, eliminated the need to dremel out much thickness from the back of the plate and gave me something to secure the LEDs too. results will vary from person to person as no two sets of hand formed sintra chestplates are the same.
