I upgraded my home network to OS2 fiber optics for the backbone. Unfortunately, commercial splice boxes are expensive and don't fit into my small rack. I designed a little box for 6 Keystone modules in a generic 24 rack holder (https://profipatch.com/profipatch-patchpanel-verteilerfeld-19-zoll-24-port-fuer-keystone-module-rackeinbau-1he-schwarz). The box is strapped to the rack using cable ties which also fix the optical cable. Simply break off the tabs for the cable inlet. The tray to hold the excess fibers could use some redesign, but you know my motto: good enough.
