Fibreglass Wand Tip

This is a slotted tip for the 10mm fibreglass wands or rods that are used to hold up electric fences. We use these to prop up sagging mesh electric fences and to prop up bird nets over our raised gardens. If you go to 5:10 in this video https://youtu.be/LyqovCM-iwc it might make a bit more sense!
It’s a parametric design, so you can change the diameter to suit locally available wands. Or you can pack the difference with hot glue or tape. It is strongly suggested that you don’t attempt to cut or file the wands as this may cause glass splinters – which is why we didn’t simply cut a notch in the top of the wands in the first place.
