fidget filament sample display

I saw a similar turntable design in a YouTube short but couldn’t find it again (shoutout to whoever gave me the idea!), so I decided to design it myself.

It’s still a work in progress because there’s a bit too much friction in the system (maybe a larger bearing would help).

It’s also a great fidget spinner, but don’t overdo it, or the samples might get launched out! 😄

The turntable can hold 32 samples measuring 40x30x2mm. You’ll only need one 608 bearing, which is pressed into the top. the turntable has a diameter of 200mm, it should fit most printers. To smooth out the slides that push the samples up, I used CA glue to eliminate the layer lines.


to keep the turntable from sliding around you may have to glue rubber feet on the bottom or just use a strip double sided tape
