I love climbing and the day after a hard session my fingers are always achy, so I decided to design this fidget finger massager to help. Inspired by the common acupuncture ring, I started with a basic open ring design, but soon realised that if I wanted constant pressure on all sides of the fingers I had to go for a much more complex design. Someone might say this is overcomplicated, but I absolutely loved the iterative design process that led to this final version! The rollers must be printed vertically to ensure strength in the axis, the rods must be printed with the long side horizontal and the ring with the holes facing up (or just use the profile provided). The rollers are a very challenging part to design and I had a few failures while working on it, but this latest version seems to be more stable. Anyway, I always print 9 rollers instead of 8 so that I have a spare one in case of failure (and same for the rods). In the profile I included 3 different plates for the rollers: a hex
