It will hold most phones in landscape perfectly and while not in use you can play with the ball like a fidget toy. It comes with a small latch to keep it closed. The blue one with ribs is the current model! The other ones are earlier drafts. PLEASE READThe hinge is a real snug fit and will require a little bit of force to loose up. Completely normal!The ball is inserted from the inside of the holder, as when it is open. It will snap right in and not come out.When closing it the first time, you MIGHT need to help the latch a little bit by ever so gently bend it a TINY bit outwards.
