Its 2020, Covid-19 is tearing across the country and with all the web calls I thought it was high time I got a decent microphone.
The Fifine Usb Podcast Mic is a lovely little usb microphone but the stand leaves a little to be desired.
These are parts for a boom arm that fits onto the original tripod.
The spacer fits inside the original hole of the microphone portion to size the hole down to an M6.
you'll need a counterweight. I used whatever I had lying around and made a mount specifically for that but I've uploaded a more generic mount with space for three M3 bolts to attach whatever you end up using. You'll have to design that bit yourself.
The rod I used was 9.5mm but as that's a bit of weird size, there's versions for 7mm-9.5mm depending on what you have lying around. I'd recommend finding a hollow shaft if possible, it will keep the weight of the boom down so it can overhang more/you can use a smaller counterweight.
