Wanted a convenient way to store 25mm base figures for gaming, so created this.
One tray file has 42 spaces for figures, the other has 48 on slightly closer spacing.
As you can see in the photo, the figures are reasonably secure. I can turn the tray upside down without figures falling out, but more than a gentle tap can dislodge them from their sockets. A leaf spring printed in each socket presses the base against the tapered side of the socket. I put the edge of the figure base against the spring and press the spring in then rotate the base into the socket. A gentle tug and they generally just pop out, but there is a hole in each socket to push up if helpful.
To assemble, print one Side, one Side mirrored (in your slicer), one BackBrace, two FrontBrace and two BottomBrace
Print as many trays of whichever layout you wish.
A couple of assembly notes:
The bottom braces are quite snug. It takes a pretty good press to get them on the dove-tail-like feature on the side plates.
The front br
