Filament clip

I almost feel bad for uploading another filament clip :-)

I liked this idea https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:282242 of a clip that clips to another turn of the filament itself to avoid 'spool compatibility' issue altogether, but the one I downloaded didn't hold on very well to the filament when printed with my printer so I decided to design my own. That should not be more than 5 minutes work anyway...

Four prototypes later that were either too tight or too loose I abandoned the design and came up with another one that is not as demanding on precise tolerances to work. It also seemed cumbersome to thread the filament through the hole so I did a symmetric clip that grips both turns of the filament in the same way.

`Freecad` source included in case anyone find it useful and need to adjust it a bit.

For 1.75mm filament.

There is a also a premade _tight version of the .stl with a bit tighter grip if you need that.
